Esklet Guest House - Whitby

The rooms at this guest house were spacious and clean, with thoughtful decor. The location was perfect, close to the beach and a short walk from town. The breakfast had a good variety, including cereals, yoghurt and plenty of toast, and you could request additional items if needed.

Parking was a bit challenging, as is common in the area. It would have been helpful if there were more parking options available.

We were upgraded to suite on check in. If you want to eat nearby, try Ditto Restaurant, which is situated 200 m away. Nothing too much trouble considering best prices😀

The location of this B&B is ideal, as it is easy to walk into the harbour and the nearby beach is perfect for children. it is just a short walk from the town center, providing convenience. the rooms are clean and welcoming, with comfortable beds and a warm atmosphere. the breakfast offers a variety of options, including a tasty mushroom omelette and veggie sausages. the staff is friendly and helpful, making guests feel welcome.

The layout of the rooms could be improved, as some guests have found the space to be limited with only one chair and no full-length mirror.

Perfect location for exploring the town, close to shops and restaurants. the breakfast had good options, especially the locally sourced sausages and fresh eggs. the staff was helpful and provided us with free internet access.

The room was not up to our expectations, the bedding and furniture were outdated, and the carpet looked worn out. the bathroom was tiny, and the shower was not working correctly.
